Lore & Background

The Wind Tribe is one of the five tribes of Kouka, founded by one of the four dragon-blooded warriors who served King Hiryuu two thousand years ago. Hak, the former Wind Tribe general nicknamed "Thunder Beast," was orphaned in a Xing-Kouka war and raised by General Son Mun-deok. After Su-won's coup falsely implicates Hak in King Il's murder, Hak's loyalty is torn between protecting Yona and coping with Su-won's betrayal—his former closest friend. The priest exiled by Su-won's father recounts the legend of the Crimson Dragon King and his four dragon warriors, setting Yona on her quest.
